This place is horrible. Avoid going here if you have the option. The staff do their best but they're understaffed and the hospital accepts patients that they are not at all equipped to take care of. I watched one patient punch another in the face in front of the staff (I know she saw it because she said "hey") and nothing was done about it. There is nothing to do except watch TV, color/draw, and sleep. They rarely follow the schedule that's on the wall, and therapy rarely happens. HORRIBLE PLACE, my sister had to have the ambulance called for her while admitted to this behavioral hospital and they wouldn't even tell us what happened to her I later had to find out from the hospital that she has high levels of creatine in her blood probably due to drug toxicity from this psychiatric hospital!
Someone lied and called the police and said I wanted to kill myself so they took me to Methodist where I was not seeing by a doctor or a social worker and they immediately transfer me here. I did everything that I needed to do to help get out, the group therapy sessions, music therapy, morning and evening check ins, learn to develop coping skills and regulate my emotions, but Dr. PURI kept me there the max amount of days.
