A full selection of classical sheet music. We also stock competition music for C.A.M.T.A and S.A.M. We now rent a practice studio for $12 an hour. Studio is equipped with 1 grand piano, 4 x music stands & chairs, and 1 table. Good for musicians needing a place in downtown Chicago to practice, teach a lesson, rehearse an ensemble, etc. Walk-in's welcome, or date(s)/time may be reserved in advance. Studio is not amplified.

For sheet music, this store is great. However, I wouldn't recommend the studio rentals if you're wanting to use their pianos. The pianos are in poor condition - the grand piano in 934 had one key that would sound but not ring out at all, and the sustain pedal felt very difficult to control compared to other acoustic pianos I've played. You're better off using the free pianos at the Harold Washington Library, which while old, are mostly much better maintained.
Awesome small business with helpful staff and an incredible selection, and they’ll be happy to order anything for you if they don’t happen to have it in stock. Wish I had found this shop sooner. Give this place a shot before you place your next music order on Amazon.
Besides being located in a building that exhales Art, the shop provides a huge catolog of sheet music and has an excelent customer service
Little gem for those interested in music scores or simply in visiting an historic building. The shop is on the 9 level and the elevator is an experience on its own. The shop has a great selection of scores and the staff was really friendly. I was able to buy an anthology with a little discount! If you are in the area, you need to visit the shop and the building!
