A few months ago, I fell and injured my shoulder. When I went to the doctor, I was advised the ball had come out of the socket and it was broke. I was given a choice to have surgery to replace it or let the bone heal on it's own. I chose to let it heal on it's own. The doctor wrote orders for me to get physical therapy.
