When I went to my appointment, I was clear that I had 2 questions. 1. Did the take my insurance 2. Could they accommodate my schedule. I was not planning to have PT there if either of those 2 criteria could not be met. She assured me that there would be no problem with either and that I should go ahead and start therapy. Upon leaving she said my insurance co. had called back after I was with the therapist, and I was not covered and therefor I owed $70.00 for the treatment, to be paid before I left the office! 1.
