I bought a pair of five ten shoes from Reston which I tried out for one day and decided that I did not like them, I tried to return them at the Reston store but was declined the shoes looked ok to me but the sales guys said they were cut up and dirty . Although I don’t alway go here because of the lack of brand choices I have over the years spent a lot of money , this will be my last dollar spent at a performance store, I can get better customer service some place else .
The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced from any store, period. Dax, who said he was the assistant store manager, was extremely aggressive when I tried to return a bike that I bought from a different performance bike store. He and Ariel told me I needed to have the original receipt and as I tried pulling up a copy on my phone I stated “ I don’t know why you guys are giving me a hard time, I’m a performance member and the info should be on my account”. Best bike shop I've been too. Staff in friendly and knowledgeable about anything you could need from bikes to gear to local trails. I highly recommend them. I drive past probably 5 bike shops to go here.
They are very helpful. I had a slightly complicated situation in which I needed their help to package a bike a certain way. They were willing and provided individualized service.
Purchased three bikes last year and was very satisfied then. Today went to the Reston store to have the tuneup I was told at the time of purchase was available on the bikes. Customer in front of me was told his bike and new part would be available Thursday. Response to me and my three bikes Oct 18th - a full month. Disappointed and found a different retailer for the tuneups.
