23mar2026 - Took my F100 to Performance Automotive for new dual exhaust, A/C repair, brake line issues, carburetor issues and a few other things I wanted Jon to take a look at. I wanted an exhaust that was quiet out on the road but could hear when starting up or stepping on the gas – Jon recommended a particular set of mufflers that gave me exactly what I wanted and it sounds very good. Very nice place and nice people
Took my car to them with some front end issues. They quoted me $1770 to fix it. Decided to take it elsewhere for a second opinion. The other mechanic fixed it perfectly for $530, said the part itself was only a $200 part. Took him the same amount of hours to fix it as performance had said and he did the Job $1200 cheaper. I’d say if you’re tight for money I wouldn’t take your vehicles here. Or at least get a second opinion before you just pay them.
