I took my wheels and tires to Performance Alignment to have the tires replaced on September 7, I didn't get the wheels and tires back until November 2, 2021! The owner of the place tried to replace my tires and ended up scratching the hell out of (2) of them and nicking another one! They sent the wheels out to be repaired and I was in contact with the Manager, Chris. Tim did a mount and balance on my car, and I was impressed with his care and knowledge. I ordered from tire rack and had them shipped to performance. No problems getting the service scheduled, and they took good care of my vehicle. Tim was meticulous about torque and pressure specs! I can recommend Performance without hesitation. I have no connection with performance, just a satisfied customer.
I installed some aftermarket suspension components on my 12 GTI and after 3 failed attempts by a local chain to align the car I made an appointment with performance. Sure the cost was a bit higher but the service provided was absolutely worth it. It's the small things like torquing each lug on each wheel to the proper specified torque rating rather than just hitting it with an impact gun and shoving it out the door. Performed services on my car that I did not ask for, and expected me to pay for said services. Owner doesn't care about what the customer wants. He just does what he wants. When I picked my car up, all 10 rear lug nuts were loose / wheels almost fell off while driving.
