This is an altogether different (and better) PT experience. I was struggling with ankle tendinitis; most places concentrate only on relieving the immediate discomfort. Kevin took a total body approach, helping me to build the strength and balance I need not just to rehab, but to prevent future issues. I would never have thought glute and low back weakness was the root cause of my foot and ankle pain.
Perfect Motion Sports Therapy is performing shock wave therapy on my feet and shoulder and am getting better with each session! Highly recommend Dr. McGovern for his knowledge and his skills in getting back to a pain free life and giving me hope that I will be getting back to doing the things I enjoy!
I had a chronic back-pain issue that was going on for almost 2+years and it was getting worse regardless of numerous approaches I tried, and seriously impacting my quality of life. With Dr. McGovern’s unique approach, it’s very well managed now and I’m continuing my journey towards greater overall health and mobility in general.
Previously we had done PT for months at our local place, rested for months of no throwing, followed another throwing program which had a huge following and cost a lot of money etc, and did every type of arm care program you could think of. My son started having bicep pain while throwing. Dr. McGovern identified the cause and had him throwing pain free within an hour. I was really impressed by how he used different cues and analogies to explain things. Over the past six months he’s completely overhauled how my son moves. He always focuses on health first. I feel like the 8-10 mph velocity increase is a bonus. My son had been on a path towards elbow problems but now he’s throwing in a much healthier, sustainable way.
