Turning 60 was a big milestone for me with a planned retirement, cycling trips and more leisure time on my line up. I have seen 6 PT specialists over the last 10 years for my shoulder. I’ve had 3 surgeries on it ( one very damaging) . I have no doubt that the other physical therapists were trained and cared to help me but the PT itself caused significant flare ups leaving me packing my shoulder in ice, unable to continue for many days. Previously we had done PT for months at our local place, rested for months of no throwing, followed another throwing program which had a huge following and cost a lot of money etc, and did every type of arm care program you could think of.
