This doctor had a issue with writing prescriptions even if it’s in your medical records. Over the counter or not some are covered by insurance. It should never be a issue as a provider to meet the needs of your patient ESPECIALLY if it’s preexisting and already in the medical records! He refused to write prescriptions for me which now caused me to have a sinus infection and bronchitis. I will be filing a complaint with my insurance against him! I DONT RECOMMEND this doctor to anyone!! For one, he doesn’t know how to submit referrals to insurance companies... that’s basic information. Now I understand why he declined my REQUEST to be referred to a physical therapist for my hip pain the first time I saw him. He MISDIAGNOSED me with arthritis before obtaining medical documentation. He told me if I wanted my problems to end I could jump out the window. He prescribed me Ibuprofen of 800 mg to take twice a day.
