Owner is amazing and involved. Plates and portions were great. Love how everything was locally sourced.
As advertised, farm to table with rotating menu, we went based on NY times review, so our expectations were high. We read all the 5 star reviews—cozy is crowded tables in small rooms, charming is an old house that is poorly lit. I agree with the hyper sustainable approach. Let me start by saying -the vibe is immaculate in the restaurant. It’s as if a southern green witch opened a restaurant and it’s gorgeous. We had high hopes for dinner - we chose the spot because of the high rating and the fact they are 100% farm to table - it seemed like a great way to celebrate my husband’s milestone achievement. I'm a fan of locally sourced ngredients and was excited to try this place. However, Perennial isn't quite there on flavor. While the cantaloupe martinii was fresh and bright, although a bit too sweet, the classic Bees Knees cocktail tasted oddly of pho broth. The kimchi deviled eggs were good but missing the kimchi flavor. I had to fight to find the hint of kimchi that was hiding in the background.
