Been a patient for almost 5 years. Called to make an appointment for a simple yearly Heavy Vehicle medical clearance and got a time and day. Few hours later the lovely Leanne called me to tell me that Shauna wasn’t comfortable to see me and do the medical check because I didn’t get a scan she asked me to get. I asked to speak to Shauna and was told “no that I (Leanne) was to relay this message to me”. Really unhelpful receptionist today. Understandably they couldn’t see me at short notice because they were fully booked, but instead of being directed to alternatives I’ve since learnt about (HotDocs, Caloundra walk-in centre), I was told there was no availability for the week and there was no cancellation list, despite the fact they were “doubly booked…two patients for every appointment”.
