Very peaceful and clean. Everyone we came in contact with was so nice. Had a great trip. Am sure we will be back.
Pech Lake State Forest Campground was a great place to spend our five days in the Upper Peninsula while exploring the area in our SXS. The campground was quiet, clean, and offered beautiful views of the lake, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of riding. One of our favorite parts of the trip was listening to the loons calling across the lake in the mornings and evenings. It really added to the peaceful Northwoods experience. Great first come first serve campground. Use this one when the others are full, like I did. Also, if you see a tag on an “empty” site - CHECK THE TAG DATE, most are actually old. It is super quiet and has great views of the small lake with easy access to both the lake and the ATV trails. Suggest Site 18, great view and you can walk down to the lake. As with all MI campgrounds it’s $20 a night and you need a MI Recreation Pass. Toilets are good. Only bad thing is the well water pump did not work (TO BAD). Closest fire wood, g... read more
