These apartments are hands down the worst we have ever lived in. We made the mistake of not looking at peppertree in person upon move in due to relocating from out of state. The pictures online are very deceiving. The “Rachel” 2 bed 2 bath online looks absolutely nothing like it does in person. We knew we were in trouble when we got a call a day or so before move in that our apartment was infested with roaches. Due to not having any notice we had to go ahead and move in. I've lived here since 2021. The location is quiet and peaceful, despite being located near major roads. The location is also a short walk away from a grocery store and bus stops, making it possible to save money on gas. The neighborhood is safe. People often go for walks or walk their dogs around throughout the day and at night. Peppertree has resident events to bring residents together. There are two playground areas for kids, and one outside gym. Peppertree is great about responding to maintenance requests.
This place is absolute garbage. On our move-in day, we knew we had f'ed up when we saw the state of the dungeon laundry room, the spider webs and EGG SACS on the stairs, and smelled the lovely scent of ancient cigarettes. Not only that, but they moved us into a unit with a broken AC during the hottest days of the summer, with no compensation or offer to move us to a different unit or hotel even though this extended for SEVERAL days. Throughout our lease, maintenance requests were not fulfilled, and our surrounding neighbors ... read more
