Thus far our experience with Peppertree has been amazing, especially compared to the hell that Midwest Property Management put us through. We qualified to move in with no security deposit (except our pet of course), maintenance has been incredibly prompt and helpful, the office staff is sweet and helpful as well, and the fact that they do community events is awesome. Thank you Peppertree for the experience so far, I'm so glad we chose you all when moving.
One of the worst Lawrence has to offer. Expect to pay no less than $600 when you leave, and trust me you will want to leave fast. Read the fine print. You are required to foot the cost of having the carpets professionally cleaned, all drip pans in the stove REPLACED (not cleaned), countertop damage repair even though you will receive them damaged, some random water bill and other erroneous expenses. Couldn’t get out fast enough. Insane company to do business with these are pre move in photos yet I’m getting charged for these exact things. Water was always included in rent so our last month of living there until the 15th of May, we paid water with the rent and was charged an insane amount two more times?? In the summer our ac worked sometimes and just left my daughter’s floor soaked the rest of the time. Maintenance call after maintenance call. These apartments are hands down the worst we have ever lived in. We made the mistake of not looking at peppertree in person upon move in due to relocating from out of state. The pictures online are very deceiving. The “Rachel” 2 bed 2 bath online looks absolutely nothing like it does in person. We knew we were in trouble when we got a call a day or so before move in that our apartment was infested with roaches. Due to not having any notice we had to go ahead and move in.
