Ah, the Peppermill Inn in Shepparton – where dreams go to die, and apparently, so do pigs… but only halfway. I ordered the pork shank, full of hope, ready for a crispy crackling masterpiece and a melt-in-your-mouth experience. What I got was a culinary crime scene. The crackling? Soft.
