Pepperite In 1943 Walter Pepper began a printing company in the garage of his home on Waverly Street in what was then southeast Memphis. The business design was to do small job printing with emphasis on personalized stationery and wedding invitations. During the years at 68 Court Street, across from Gerber's Tearoom and New Front Street, service was the watchword.
