Nice older hotel, fair quality given the price and great view of Lake Tahoe. The room climate controls needs to be updated, but beyond that it's worth the price.

Its fine for a night
I have been coming here for over 10 years. We love the location but this time will probably be our last. The rooms need updating. The paint and plaster were peeling off the walls in the bathroom. The beds were not comfortable. No daily housekeeping...You have to ask the front desk for extra towels and things which is no problem. The thing that really bothered us was there was a large amount of bird poop right in front of our door as birds had nested in the eaves above (we were on floor 7).
