Apartments are very good for UTA students. I lived there a year, and never encountered problems. Maintenence orders were resolved quickly, office was usually open, staff was friendly, and pests were minimal. There are people living here that have been here since it was opened. All in all, this is a great community and I hope to move back there soon.
The apartments at Peppermill seem very appealing at first, especially to UTA students because of its location, but there are things that will only come up after you have signed the lease. The rent may seem reasonable comparatively, but it has gone up every year - $50 per month increase in just the past 3 years! You will also be responsible for utilities, which is not unreasonable generally for the small square footage, but the A/C units in the windows have a difficult time keeping the loft apartments cool upstairs in the sum... read more
