My experience with this office is so disappointing. The staff is very rude with a bad attitude and very bad communication skills; they make you feel that you are "begging" from them! I will never go back to this office.
Went in after my retina specialist said that I had a cataract on my eye that needed to be removed. I was told my copay was $20 and I would not have to pay anything else as much insurance would cover. As soon as I walked into the door they demanded my credit card and charged my copay without allowing me to read the financial forms prior to the charge. Incredible (UN) Ethics at this "Institute" I called to make an appt for Cataract Surgery. I was told that I needed to have Exam, etc prior. I inquired, and they checked, to see if I was in network. Indeed I was, I was told, by them and my insurance. So I went through all the diagnostics -- and then -- when the diagnostics were completed and I was trying to schedule for the Cataract surgery (as was my chief concern from day one) -- I was told that the Surgery Center was in a separate network!!! Dr. Pepose always takes his time and is very thorough.
Had cataracts in both eyes...chose to splurge on new lens that lets you read without glasses. Only one chance to make this lifetime decision! Thought I would be afraid but staff in medical office and surgery center were really nice and calm. Dr. Pepose restored my vision to the way I saw at 16. Wish he could do the same for the rest of my body!
Dr. Pepose is professional and instills total confidence in me and everyone I have recommended see him. Before I switched to Dr. Pepose I went to two other Drs. for years. Neither informed me or noticed that I had an inherited disease called Map Dot Dystrophy. It could complicate eye procedures like cataract surgery. Dr. Pepose diagnosed me and knew exactly how to care for my issue in order to ameliorate the problem. I have great faith in Dr. Pepose.
Dr. Pepose spent a lot of time thoroughly examining me and even called my oncologist. He wanted to make sure my condition was not caused by something very serious. I really appreciated his thoroughness.
Friendly and courteous medical assistants and front desk staff. Efficient process. Dr. Pepose is friendly, knowledgeable and takes the time to not only explain everything but to also answer all questions.
A cataract removed i was made very comfortable with the procedure. Everything was explained very well
