My cataract surgery went well but I am here for my year follow up with Dr Reger. My appt was 2:00- it is now 3:00 and I still haven’t seen the doctor. When questioned the staff informed me they have a new doctor and are having to share rooms so there is a back up. This sounds like poor scheduling practices to me. I would leave but my eyes are dialated. I will be looking for a new Opthalmologist.
Hust over 2 years ago I had cataract surgery. My surgeon was Johnathon Crews. Everything went well with that. I was impressed how much clearer and brighter everything was. I did develop complications a few days later. I started losing some vision. I was given an emergency appointment with DR. Nancy Holecamp, she is a retinal specialist. My experience with this office is so disappointing. The staff is very rude with a bad attitude and very bad communication skills; they make you feel that you are "begging" from them! I will never go back to this office.
Went in after my retina specialist said that I had a cataract on my eye that needed to be removed. I was told my copay was $20 and I would not have to pay anything else as much insurance would cover. As soon as I walked into the door they demanded my credit card and charged my copay without allowing me to read the financial forms prior to the charge. Incredible (UN) Ethics at this "Institute" I called to make an appt for Cataract Surgery. I was told that I needed to have Exam, etc prior. I inquired, and they checked, to see if I was in network. Indeed I was, I was told, by them and my insurance. So I went through all the diagnostics -- and then -- when the diagnostics were completed and I was trying to schedule for the Cataract surgery (as was my chief concern from day one) -- I was told that the Surgery Center was in a separate network!!!
