What a fabulous place to dine!! The food is to die for, especially the fresh rainbow trout and the char grilled lamb chops, our favorites. Homemade bean salad, delicious soups, and the bread basket is a meal in itself. Very casual roadhouse style, but sparkling clean and the staff is phenomenal. By the way did I mention the cocktails? Huge!! Filled to the brim. Best pour in town. Don't miss it!!
Ruddest and most arrogant people ever to run a restaurant. I got in an argument last time I was there when I ordered a shot of Baileys for my cofee. I almost died when I saw the bill was $13 for the shot. I compained and the were aggressively rude and a shouting match ensued. This is a low-mid grade restaurant and I pointed out the the finest restaurants that are 3 times their price, charged $7-$8 a shot, they continued to argue. Get there early, it opens at 5:00 p.m. Great food. – When we go there, we get there at 5:00 PM when it opens. If you don't, you'll probably have to wait. It's a small place, and tables go quick. A good couples or friends place.Ceaser salad has anchovies on it. Don't see that much anymore. Steak, prime rib, short ribs are great. An 'old style' type of place, with a familiar feel. Great Food Pepino's is a little-known spot in Walled Lake that is right off of the lake. They are open only during dinner hours and have a small dining room, but they offer a nice menu and very tasty food.
Great Food Pepino's is a little-known spot in Walled Lake that is right off of the lake. They are open only during dinner hours and have a small dining room, but they offer a nice menu and very tasty food. They have recently undergone a face lift. The building looks better, though I haven't been in recently to see if they updated the dining room as well. I would return because it was something different and the food was good. PROS: Good food; great location. CONS: Small dining room.
