Don't do Autopay with Pepco. They withdrew duplicate payments from my account. They promised me a full refund but by the time the refund was sent to the "Remittance Dept", my current charges were billed so they refused to refund the full amount. I was initially told it takes 3-5 days. After speaking with two Supervisors, Ms. Salas & Ms. Lawrence, I was then told 7 days by one of them and 7 - 14 days by the other. Please take a close look at your bill EACH month and compare charges. I found a $615 charge for the stupidest reason. As soon as I get it back I am switching electricity providers. For people who does not know out there, YES, YOU CAN change electricity supply companies. Just go to your state's Public Service Commission website and you will have the list of companies WE CAN CHOOSE from to switch! Don't let them keep robbing you!
