After a 6.5 hour nightmare waiting for a tow truck following a blowout on I45S South on Sunday afternoon, a tow truck driver took us to Pep Boys where we dropped off our vehicle since it was after hours. Terrible and sexist experience. My wife brought our car in for a diagnostic after clearly explaining that it was stalling and that we had already been dealing with a camshaft sensor issue. She explained everything we had already done, and they still ignored her, talked down to her, and asked if she drove a manual or automatic like she wouldn’t know the difference. They charged us $110 just to tell us the camshaft sensor needed to be replaced, which our own diagnostic tool had already confirmed. We replaced the sensor again, ... read more
