Car caught flat today, I was in the area of Spring Valley, California, drove over to Pep Boys, A young gentleman started off helping me but Dustin assisted me right away & sealed the deal. Dustin had another employee place order for tires and was able to personally picked up my tires from another Location came back and changed my front tires. The service was great. This location replaced an oil pan plug with a temporary plug and failed to tell me that the plug would fail. It failed 50 miles away. Luckily I wasn’t driving it on the highway. Towed car to shop and paid for new oil pan installation. 9 months later I gave them the benefit of my doubt and took the car back for an oil leak. Diagnosed needing valve cover gasket and distributor replacement. A week later I was told that I needed a new ECM. A month later told ECM replacement failed and no idea if one was available.
