I took my car in to have a tire replaced after getting a flat. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I was told that the appointment time “doesn’t mean anything” and was only a suggested time to come in. In my experience with other service centers, they usually put the vehicle back together completely after service, including storing the spare donut tire and returning everything to its proper place. Unfortunately, Pep Boys did not do that.
I’ve had like half a dozen flat tires in the last 3 years and they’ve always provided excellent service with tire repair that’s been free of charge thanks to buying my tires with them (plus free tire rotations). And they don’t go out of their way to find unnecessary repairs any time I bring my car in for an oil change, which I appreciate because any time I brought my vehicle to the dealer they would always seem to find $1000-$2000 in additional maintenance!
My tire went flat from a nail. They fixed it and got me out in less than 30 minutes. Best service ever
