I visited this location a few weeks ago before a moving because my brakes were squealing and sounded like they were grinding while slowing down. I was told the brake pads “looked brand new” and were a waste to have replaced. Nothing was said about the rotors. Once I got to my new spot, the squealing got worse and happened while turning the steering wheel. The mechanic took off the tires and said I was lucky to be alive with the condition of the brake pads and rotors.
TLDR: literally go anywhere else; they’re discriminatory scammers who take the bolts off your tires to try to sell you a bolt lock and mark you as a sucker 😢 They also have had over 5 management and staff changed this year alone. Will went out of his way to help me out. I found myself with a blowout far from home and he not only had the tire in stock but installed it blazingly fast. Very courteous and professional. Will’s service is precisely why pep boys is who services our vehicles.
Will provided excellent and quick service! I will definitely be returning to this pep boys location with any other car needs.
