I’ve been a loyal Pep Boys customer for over 10 years, but my recent experience at the Lutz, FL location was the worst service I’ve ever received. I brought my car in on May 9th for an oil change and mentioned the car having a jerking issue. They charged me over $1,200 for repairs that did absolutely nothing to fix it. The problem happened again before I even made it home. What followed was multiple trips back (May 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th), constant runarounds, and zero communication. Came to this location to get a patch done. Was told by cashier that the technician stated he didn’t have time to do it because after he was finished putting tires away there closing. Seemed that they just wanted to go home. There was 2 cashiers and 1 technician onsite I believe a little team work would have went along way. I would have blessed each individual with a tip if they took the initiative to get the patchwork done it was a simple task but I really would’ve appreciated it. I called made an appointment for 1130am, I drive 45 minutes, im there on time, the man inside says, you talked to a call center, we don't have time to look at your truck today, drop it off and we can look at it tomorrow. Absolutely INSANE. I couldn't drop it off with no ride home,I had an appointment. Update, I have an "appointment" for tomorrow... Hopefully I will be able to change my review.
