After ignoring multiple issues in the past,(last time, they forgot to hook those back after oil change)took the car in for an oil change and a wheel alignment. Waited for hours to hear anything after dropping off at the scheduled 9am appointment. Finally after 5 hours, called and said it was ready. Drove car home but it was shaking worse than before. Great place. My only issue with service was they failed to call me to let me know my vehicle was ready. I could have picked it up hours earlier.
I will not use Pep Boys in Pelham again if I have another choice. I made an oil change appointment for 5 PM (arrived on time) and at 6:15 PM my car was not even pulled into the service bay. To make it worse, I had been waiting in the lounge area yet no one had bothered to inform me they were over an hour behind (despite sharing with me they’d had a lot of walk ins). I do not care how many walk ins you have, appointments should be serviced first. You should manage your intake so that you honor appointments.
