Needing a brake job, I contacted Pep Boys in Frisco, TX. I had received a quote over the phone for brake pads all around and two rear rotors. Once I arrived, they performed a thorough brake inspection and suggested that I also replace the front rotors due to heat and edging. The cost of the additional rotors and a flush of the brake fluid probably added and additional 100 to 150 dollars, which was offset by a Pep Boys coupon. Where do I start? Horrible experience! 1) Advertised tires online did not match what was in store. 2) After accepting the tires anyways, took almost 2 hours to mount 4 tires. 3) They didn't put any of my caps back on the tires. 4) TPMS was fine when my truck arrived, and I left with 2 not working. 5) Lied about TPMS working when they originally put the tires on. Waited one hour past my appointment time, then it was close to closing time. Now, I’m driving 40 minutes home with nothing accomplished. Frustrating experience
I did an oil change here but did not capture the oil tank and returned the car to me. The engine room was splattered with oil. I will never come back here.
