To Whom It May Concern, I am disappointed with the handling of my vehicle's A/C repair at Pep Boys #1660 in Newnan, GA. On February 26, 2026, I paid approximately $1,570.36 to repair my A/C system. At no time was I informed of any condenser issues, possible system contamination, or the likelihood that additional related components might need replacement. Went in to get my AC looked at. When I got it back they left my car unlocked, messed with the system/lights and didn’t put it back to how it was. They also left an 8 inch scratch and a 4 inch scratch on my left passenger side door.
Called and spoke to a very nice lady about rear brakes. She was very accommodating. I drove up to drop my truck off for service. Unfortunately I was greeted by a disgruntled, uninterested gentleman. Rude and then priced my brakes for “at least $600”. He couldn’t explain the price or charges other than it was “a pain to do”. Lazy lions don’t eat. There’s a Mavis tire right next to them. I went there and it was completed in half the time and $200 under Pep dude’s $600. Go elsewhere
We had a blowout on the interstate about 4.5 hours from home. We stopped by the Mavis down the road that closed at 6. We pulled in about 5:40 and they told us they couldn’t take us cause they were closing. They suggested Pep Boys which is open till 7. We went to pep boys and got 3 brand new tires. Staff were some of the nicest I’ve ever seen at an auto service place. Only took them about 30 minutes to get us all taken care of. Can’t recommend them enough.
