great place – This is a great bar with a really interesting mix of people and no frills. It's small and relaxed and the bartenders are great. My friends and I go there pretty frequently, as we know we can rely on it for a good night. On the weeknights you can almost always get a place at the dart boards (bring your own darts if you're serious about it, because the bar's darts kind of suck), but on the weekends it gets to be a bit crowded. Bar for the laid back – People's Republik is a great bar with no attitude. Everyone is friendly and it's pretty easy to strike up conversations. The decor is simple but intriguing with all the Soviet era posters. Plus, you've got to love a bar with a large bomb in it. Also, they serve until 2am so it's good for last call.
