Horrible caregivers. Even the support staff and scheduling are rude and unhelpful. I definitely do not recommend them. Try and find another agency. I had one lady clock in and not show up and another lady take stuff from my house. They did nothing about it. When I called to report it, they yelled at me.
For the person who said "you can always request a different caregiver" - no you can't! I had a caregiver who was on her phone all the time One with his butt hanging out of his pants One who saw "strange men in the back yard" (there aren't any men here at all) One who was routinely 2+ hours late & brought her 4yo son & stole my headlamp One who quit because I practice "black witchcraft" (I didn't even know what that was) One who took care of someone else's pets instead of me (they HAD to eat at 7pm). In my opinion..... peoples care, cares more about the the employees schedule for their other job, than they do their client's well being!!!! This system is horrendous! The pay is minimal and the work is challenging. Maybe... pay more to retain qualified Help!
Toby G & Ms. Hope just because ya'll had bad experience doesn't mean everyone has that same bad experience. Maybe ya'll's personality didn't match with the Personal Care Provider you were assigned. you could've always requested a different Personal Care Provider. I don't know what ya'll have tried but for every problem there is a solution. I've never had a bad experience with PeopleCare West. Granted sometimes some staff members have rough personalities or ways of talking & treating clients also some clients can be very diff... read more
Serving underserved areas throughout Colorado... this company's willingness to think outside the box, provide great customer service, and provide excellent home healthcare to rural areas of Colorado is what makes this a great company. The people that work for this agency really care for the patients/clients that they serve. As they continue to grow the company, there are always growing pains, but I feel that they have achieved in creating systems and having programs to ensure they are providing excellent care to the families... read more
