Victim blaming and distain. Severely Disappointed in the mental health service or lack there of. I called to find out resources available for a victim and the woman I spoke to (Txxxx) was cold and unfriendly. It wasn’t just her cutting off me off when I was getting emotional to say, “well that sounds like it is (the victim)’s own fault” but the pure cold distain and judgmental tone of her voice. Imagine if I had been the victim calling?!!
Ebony Cotton is truly dedicated to her clients and providing resources to those that choose to receive services with this office, particularly the targeted case management services. From what I understand most are able to receive services for up to 3 years. I cannot speak to the entirety of the team, but Ebony in particular truly has a passion for helping individuals find housing. Love the homeless services department. S/o to Dave Katzenmeyer forever the best healthy supervisor. Ian N learned alot from him as well. Long live Oscar . Great team of the others as well. Different personalities but everyone supported each other.
