Good for the price – I ordered from the 2-for-1 sushi roll deal and my husband had the curry chicken. The food was ok for what you could expect from a very affordable establishment. The menu is pretty extensive - making it a jack-of-all-trades type of cuisine. We had take-out, so I can't comment on the table service. It's an average place with good prices.

this place has the best sushi in town! it's of great quality and always presented nicely. i cant believe it's always buy one get one free because usually places like that have sushi that's too sticky, falls apart too easy, or the rolls are small. i highly recommend this place to everyone!

Awesome Asian food – I love Peony's. It is a great place to eat lunch. Get their card for lunches. Eat 9 specials, and you get one free. I love when restaurants offer this. They have great lunch specials. Their spicey lunches are not very spicey, but you can ask that they kick it up a nunch. If you want sushi, they have a great buy one, get one free special. I like their spicey chicken or General Tsao Chicken, Visit Peony, you will love it.

Worst Sushi in Triangle – First off, the rice was undercooked--still very hard. The fish in the rolls was barely noticeable, as the rolls themselves were tiny. Everything had mayo. and crunchies on/it it (which is fine in some rolls, but should at least be listed in the descriptions - for example, spicy tuna generally does not have mayo and crunchy). Good dining at the least – I found this while trying out the restaurants in Patterson Place and was impressed. The atmosphere was great, the staff decent enough, not real talkative, but attentive. The food was good, w/ some unusual presentation, the sushi reasonable in both taste price. I feel good when I go there. Sastisfying Asian cuisine The restaurant features a variety of Asian styles including Chinese and Japanese, so there's a lot to choose from on the menu. I found the hot entree I ordered to be satisfying and the accompanying sushi rolls to be fresh and well-formed.
