LOVED the PLACE!! I lived there for several years in the '90s. I didn't need a car, because buses and trains were all close by. It was walking distance to downtown and to Denver nite life. It is still the best place I have ever lived. I wish I could come back to Denver. I would definitely live at Penwood Place again!
Generally a nice place to live! I used to live in these apartments before I got married. They are a bit pricey for a single man/woman, but very nice. My only complaint is that getting a hold of the property manager was pretty difficult, but when I finally did, my problems were always resolved quickly and effectively.
Bugs, smells, broken elevators and bad managment I lived in Penwood Place for 6 months. When we moved in there were bugs in the cupboards, trash in the closet, and a gun clip on the windowsill. The laundry room is in the same room as the trash drop and the smell of the trash moves down the hall. The elevators were always getting stuck with people inside. I moved out and my husband stayed until the lease was up. I had a restraining order on my husband, when I gave my new address to Linda she promised she would not give him my... read more
