Great setting. Just like sitting alongside the ocean in a valley surrounded by mountains. Great service in the coffee shop.
Room was nice, service was helpful. There is construction currently so you can’t open the windows due to noise (but they had A/C). You have to pay extra for the spa. The private beach access was ok - we checked it out but then quickly went to much quieter, less rocky beaches (too much highway noise).
Just not what it was. Casino was nice to have in the hotel.
Noisy, Uncomfortable, and Unsafe – Do Not Recommend This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced and I'm a very seasoned traveller. From the moment I arrived, I could tell the rooms were very dated — old furniture, thin walls, and spring mattresses that made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. SPRING MATTRESSES!!!! Plus no climate control in the rooms, just hot or cold, which the cold was not cold.
