It is possible 7 yrs ago Pentavia and Curt Deboise had a good reputation. We have recently filed a lawsuit for fraud in the tune of almost half million dollars. The review 3 months ago is accurate. I struggled to get my 5 yr project back on track without double paying the subs/vendors as Pentavia and Curt where not paying their bills with subsequent liens put on my home. so Contractors refused to either start the work or finish the work that we paid Pentavia for. You guys have reviewed the issues many times and nothing has been done. We haven’t even had the paint touch ups addressed as part of the 1 year builder warranty or the leaks fixed in the laundry room and bathroom. There are plenty of others in the neighborhood that feel the same way. We will have our attorney communicate from here. There are 7 other homes with similar concerns.
Buyer beware this company withholds monies owed to their subs even after the project is complete. I would not extend them any credit terms. They use any excuse they can find in order to not pay. They do not dispute that the debt is valid but they still never pay.
The process with Pentavia started out great with their promises and initially design meetings but went quickly downhill. Throughout our build process they replace the lead foreman 3 different times resulting in a crazy amount of miscommunication. The largest one being that we requested grids on the front and back of the home but the only installed windows with grids on the front and not the back and then made us pay to have the mistake fixed.
