08/2025: I 💜 Penstock Quarter. This is my 3rd time choosing to live here. The leasing staff are all personable and they make every effort to make PQ feel like home: Erin, Taylor & Jenny are professional and friendly. The complex is clean and well-maintained. When I return to RIC, PQ is the only place I'll live. 2024: PQ has been home for 8 mos. I love it here. It's beautiful & clean. Libbie Mill is safe & gorgeous. One block to food, drink & the library. This place i called home. Love the ammenities and people/tenants. Mind you my apt is closer to the pool, yet its Safe, secured parking and safe parcel/box deliveries and noise it at minimum to none, which ticks my boxes in choosing an apt. Management personnel were prompt in all aspects: renewal reminders/offer options to stay( which I appreciate) ,maintenance team and security. Thanks to Ms shelby, Taylor and Jenny. Update regarding comment: It took nearly 24 hours to fix my unit even after filing as a high priority, maintenance not answering phone after two calls, coming 30 minutes after saying they will be right there all while it remained 80 degrees in my apartment. I cannot believe this complex is actually congratulating itself over this. At this complex your power will go off almost once a month, elevators consistently appear unsafe, and consistent issues with A/C units and other appliances. Lived here in 2024 first time moving into my own apartment it was promising but quickly things went downhill if I could give this place a zero I would. I never met the manager she never was adult enough to talk to me or my fiance the interim manager was the worst she was absolutely passive aggressive and rude to me and the other two who work at the front office didn't know what was going on most of the time it was a train wreck to say the least.
