I ordered plants from this nursery for the first time and I just received my shipment today. I would like to start off with saying that the plants look like they had a rough trip! However, I got them all out, cleaned them up and I plan on pruning the damaged parts later this evening. I will be ordering again. Thank you Pense Berry Nursery.
I was not happy with my purchases. I order 2 each of 3 varieties of honeyberry, 1 each of two variety of currants, 1 each of 2 variety of elderberry. I had patiently been waiting on my shipment when I went online to check the order and it stated that it had been shipped out on May 1st and it was now May 20. Professional nurseries secure and protect roots carefully before shipping, but Pense Nursery treated live plants like yard waste. The result was broken stems, bone-dry roots, and some plants were completely dead on arrival, while several others were so severely dried out that they are unlikely to recover. I ... read more
I'm sorry to have to do this but I emailed and a week went by so I emailed again. Still no reply. I ordered $4,600 for a pre-sold fundraiser (taking payment then ordering from Pense). I had requested it be shipped 4/4-8 prior to ordering to coordinate with other vendors. My order shipped 4/11-13. The Honey Berry plants arrived in the poorest condition; pots were crushed, dirt spilled out, plants were mangled, one plant was broken off, some were missing all their leaves, one pot was only dirt (no roots or plant!), and se... read more
