I currently live here and all I can say is dont get an apartment in the front facing the park and columbia pike. People are there all day and all night! You will get no sleep. They play music there all day and sometimes even all night. There is construction constantly on culumbia pike. The apt is clean, some staff is nice, some isnt. They charge you for everything! Cant wait to get out!
After living at Penrose for 7 years I would love to share my experience to others who are thinking of moving in. -This apartment is CLEAN. Their standards are very high and you would never deal with any type of pests. -The building is completely secured and security cameras are everywhere. We had a truly positive experience living here. The property was consistently well-maintained .Leasing office team was always responsive and helpful. Their support whenever we had questions or needed assistance made our stay comfortable and stress free.
I was a resident in Penrose Square from Dec 2019 - Feb 2024. The Good: - Location is great and not too far away from DC. - One of the leasing agents (Tomma) and a few of the receptionists were pretty pleasant to deal with. - Maintenance quickly addressed any concerns The Bad: - I had more than a few unpleasant conversations with the leasing staff (Ryane the Community Manager and Mike).
