Rob saved our bacon today. Fantastic service and great attitude etc. You are safe in his hands.
We got to Penong and spent the night next morning a quick stop at the windmills then no battery 😒 Rob from Penong motors was amazing. Replaced the battery and identified the alternator was not too healthy. Ordered it and by 4pm the next day it had arrived and been fitted ready for us to head West.
Mitchell from Penong Automotive came and picked me up from the Nullabor Roadhouse and we drove another 60km west to pick up my car that was stranded with a Check Hybrid System warning. He got me back to the workshop in Penong where he topped up the Hybrid System Coolant levels and checked for signs of leaks. The sun was setting at this point and I still didn’t have any accomodation. He towed me onto Ceduna and dropped me at the Big 4 Caravan Park which was one of his recommendations. Penong Automotive is an amazing company. Rob the mechanic, at short notice over the Easter holidays, drove five hours to rescue us in Eucla after our car started having engine problems and went into limp mode on the Nullarbor. He then towed us five hours back to Penong. What an amazing bloke. And he fixed the issues in no time once back at the workshop. I can’t recommend him highly enough. As a bonus he was very entertaining on the long drive back with many interesting stories to tell.
I had a breakdown in March near Fowlers Bay, SA, with a detached suspension that left my car stranded. Rob came first thing the next morning, took me back to the location, and then reattached my suspension. Friendly and excellent service – thanks, Rob!
