My son attends Penobscot job corps and he is really liking it! There was an incident of assault from another resident and they handled it amazingly! They took control of the situation, contacted me immediately and the Bangor PD and they also handled it amazingly! He is still happy with his choice to be there after it all and can't wait to move forward and continue is growth of his future and success!

I went here in 2024 and I say this with urgency: please do not go here. I was sexually harassed and experienced racist remarks and actions every day. My self-esteem was ruined while I was there. As a 16-year-old, I was the victim of stalking by a 24-year-old. I was consistently approached by adults who were trying to groom me.

THE REC TEAM IS SO COOL AND AWESOME SAUCE. THE REC MANAGER IS GREAT, HE PROMOTES POSITIVITY AND ACTIVITY IN THE RECREATIONAL CENTER. HE'S FUNNY, KIND, AND ALWAYS OPEN TO FEED BACK. HE IS ALSO ALWAYS AN OPEN EAR FOR STRUGGLING STUDENTS. AND THE TWO OTHER REC STAFF ARE AWESOME AS WELL!! THEYRE AWESOME. HOORAY. MUCH LOVE TO THE REC TEAM!
