Our first evening in Seattle after a long flight, and Pennyroyal Tea happened to be right by our hotel, the Moore Hotel. We hadn't planned on going in, but on the off chance we thought we'd grab a drink and take some time to come down from the journey and get ourselves sorted for the holiday ahead. Drinks were alright, but the bartender was very rude. We were told they were closing at 10 when we entered when the listing says 11. Fine. More people entered and we were then told they were staying open until 11. The bartender proceeded to turn the lights on bright and the music off at 10:30 as if to shoo people out of the bar without much warning. checked into the hotel attached and they said the bar opened for service at 4, came back at 4:45 and the bar says closed for the evening with no explanation. disappointing to not be told at check in.
