My husband recently stopped in to Pennyroal while we were staying at the Kimpton Palladian in Seattle. We sat at the bar and Huntley was our bartender. He was absolutely phenomenal - we would come back just to hangout with him! Their happy hour deals are unheard of, and their food was great. We hope to be back soon!
Hunt is THE BEST bartender ever he is SUPER personable and ultra kind! Plus he made the best espresso martini I’ve ever had! (Trust me I’ve had ALOT) I’d come back simply for him. Beautiful bar great atmosphere and even better drinks!! Also ladies clean bathroom!
I mostly like this place but service is terrible. Waiters don’t give you time or energy. We sat at a table for over 20min and had to go to the bar (while it does not say “order at the bar” and I have never had too before) to get the menu. Take a better care of who you employ.
Unfortunately I had a really disappointing experience here tonight — I’m a hotel guest through the weekend and booked my room with Chase Sapphire Reserve (The Edit). I realized I hadn’t used my $100 hotel credit yet that you get with CSR and I was leaving early tomorrow morning, so I walked all the way back across the city much earlier than I would have otherwise to be able to use it at the hotel bar.
