Billing Department is rude and they refuse to send invoices at times. These people refer everyone to collections, even when insurance covers. For a long period of time they did not accept certain insurance s.They were out of network. The towns need to go back to there own EMS.
They are only getting one, because zero isn't an option. Nasty people you can tell by the inflection on their voice when you call in. Nobody there is happy. They send everyone to collections without sending out notices first.
The service the ambulance provided was good. But their billing is terrible. They screwed up my insurance. So I sent the statement with the correct insurance and they sent the statement with how much I owed. I was making monthly payments without missing a payment and they still sent it to collections! What does that?
I would have give them zero if I could. Without any notification, they sold my bill to debt collector and reversed any discount they promised me previously. They should have told me their ambulance were not covered by insurance, I have no option no choice to choose the ambulance when I called 911. They ripped people off, they are there not to help people, they just want people suffer. Wish you guys and your family never got sick.
Transported me to Geisinger CMC emergency room, good guys. Did a good job on the way 👍
