I am not currently a patient and will not become one after reading your response to a recent comment. I am very concerned that you publicly shared a child’s diagnosis in response to a negative review. I believe that may be a violation of HIPAA, and I sincerely hope the child’s parent has been made aware. As a potential patient, this raises serious concerns about privacy and professionalism.
Unfortunately, my 3 year old had her annual cleaning and we were told she had 3 cavities. One would be watched and two needed to be fixed. We were told to avoid drilling and filling and instead to go with a sealant of sorts which would leave her teeth with black spots. Since they were her baby teeth, the office believed they wouldn’t even be noticeable. I was given 2 appointments as it would take two treatments. Pull on those reading glasses, this might be long..... In 2018, we started orthodontic treatment for our daughter, who was 8 at the time. We chose a local orthodontist. "C" had an expander for a few years, then braces. At the end of her "treatment," the orthodontist told us the ONLY way to achieve more space and straighter teeth in our daughter's mouth was to have jaw surgery (break her jaw); she was 13.
