I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience with Pennington Hardwoods was so frustrating that I had to share. The wood I received had noticeable defects, and it was not the same color as what was pictured on the website. On top of that, they charged me more than what was quoted initially. Their customer service team was unhelpful, and I ended up having to resolve the issue myself. Very disappointing.

I had high hopes for Pennington Hardwoods, but my experience was less than stellar. Their customer service was incredibly unresponsive, and I had to follow up multiple times just to get basic information about my order. It took way longer than expected to get my delivery, and when the wood finally arrived, it was damaged. Definitely not what I was expecting from a company that claims to offer high-quality products.

Like several of the other customers who have written a review, I have also purchased hardwood flooring from Pennington Hardwoods multiple times. I believe I must have been one of first customers after he put up the website in the mid 90's. Over the course of 5 years, I purchased and installed oak and ash hardwood floors in the whole 3000 sq ft home in Naperville IL. Beautiful, high quality flooring for very reasonable prices. We are repeat customers, and have been very happy with the quality of flooring. Kevin was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the ordering, manufacturing, and shipping process, in addition to offering advice over the installation process etc. Highly recommend Pennington Hardwoods!
