Be careful with this law firm- I called and explained my situation, the person who I assume was the receptionist, took down all my personal info- knowing full well they don’t help with my basic situation. I also instructed I do not want to be contacted by email- and want a phone call. The next morning I receive a quick email from this law office- simply mentioning they don’t handle this basic case. Michael and his team were very helpful during a difficult time for us.
Wish I could give 0 stars. After 8 months and $6100, Michael Gaarder didn’t even file my father’s divorce case. He’s still trying to collect another $1600 for doing essentially nothing. Communication was an issue and eventually my father never heard from him again. He waited 3 weeks for a response before retaining a new lawyer. The lack of support and guidance was so disappointing for a 71 year old, learning-disabled man trying to navigate a difficult time. I would never recommend this attorney.
