Bought a 2017 gmc acadia, transmission was bad on it when we bought it but didn’t show signs til the day after we bought it. After signing papers and buying it (sold as is), he pushes us to buy a warranty through a third party company and tells us he thinks the torque converter is bad. I know why have it for sale if you know there’s problems with it but don’t let your customers know before selling it? We ended up buying the warranty and had it put in the shop after buying it.
