Great stop for a date.
Excellent pizza with gluten-free options, very tasty cider, cool farm stand options as well.
My favorite cider distillery. The distiller is up on the hill, restaurant/bar area at the bottom. When they are packed....be prepared to wait. They offer unique combinations and flavors of hard cider. In addition there was a petting zoo area for kids and live concert area for evening events.
Used to frequent Penning's very often but moved away from the area a couple years ago. I made the trip back a few weeks ago and was very excited for their pizza which was always amazing, however not this time. Not sure if it was fluke, but the pizza was awful. Still a great place to hang out on a nice day.
We came here for the cider, but we left wondering what the differences were. We got the traditional flight to share - $24, but honestly, all six options tasted about the same. It was a great way to sample for some variety, but we left without liking any of them. But the place was beautiful with a decent amount of seating (indoor, terrace, and outdoor). We didn’t partake in the pizza, but saw a ton of people enjoying them.
