I visited the mobile breast screening unit in Ilkley today which I am very supportive of and have previously had good experiences with. I was shocked by the incredibly fast pace of my examination. I was a bit early for my appointment and there was no-one waiting so there wasn't any reason for this. Received this text completely unsolicited. I have not made an appointment nor have I asked to receive such texts. It’s an unwanted invasion of privacy. I really wish the NHS would spend money on what people are asking for rather than all this stuff many of us didn’t. The disdain for public money is astounding.
Excellent service this morning for a routine mammogram
Was called to Pennine Suit at St Lukes after a routine managram. Had ultra sound and biopsies taken. The nurses and Doctors where lovely but Nurse Priscilla Dortey- Bawah was outstanding and made me feel at ease, explaining everything in a kind and professional manner. Nurse Priscilla is truly in the right profession and her caring nature shone throughout. I am currently receiving treatment for breast cancer but having wonderful nurses help you through it makes things less stressful.
