I ordered a cheese steak sub and it was average. Nothing to brag about. The staff were polite and pleasant. And I asked for no banana peppers and they still put them on there.
Whichever manager chose to schedule a solo shift for lunch on a Sunday needs to reevaluate their staffing criteria. Walking in to receiving food took nearly an hour. Multiple parties walked in and walked out. The food was good and the one guy doing it all was nice though, so that's a plus.
Definitely coming back for their steak sub 👌🤤
If I could give it a -1 I would, absolutely got completely ignored while I was there. I was standing there for 10 minutes waiting to order and a woman that walked in after me got paid attention to before me. I love Penn station normally but i will never go back to that location, I might as well have been a ghost.
3 of us ate at the West Wendover, Greensboro, NC location on Wed, January 28, 2026. The fries were crispy to perfection, The Dagwood and Grilled cheese steak were fresh and flavorful, and portions were perfect. The bread was fresh and also flavorful, not just a holder of the sandwich ingredients.
